Where Am I -   Before leaving your job

Before leaving your job

Before leaving your job, there are few key pieces of paperwork which are well worth picking up.

These include your:

  • P45 form

  • Redundancy payment details

  • Any company support arrangements

It is sensible to record contact details (phone, fax, address, external e-mail address ) of your:

  • Union representative

  • Pension fund trustees

  • Personnel department

  • Private medical insurance supplier

  • Company doctor?

  • Company dentist?

  • Line manager(s)
(home as well as work, for future reference)

Return any ID/security passes or loaned company items.

If you change your address after leaving the company, do not forget to let the company know so that they can still send you any paperwork and communicate with you.
